Brian Holman started winning earlyBrian Holman is a second generation driver who got his start in racing at the early age of 9. He raced WKA (World Karting Association) style Go-karts on dirt ovals throughout Georgia and Northern Florida. He visited victory lane in his third start and never looked back. In his second season in go-karts he won the Karting Championship for 1988. Over the next 6 years, Holman Racing scored over 130 main event podium finishes as well as countless plaques and awards.

After high school -1997, Brian worked for NASCAR Winston Cup driver Bill Elliott at Bill Elliott Racing, Busch team -1998 at Elliott-Marino Motorsports Brian assisted in the fielding of a full time entry in the NASCAR Winston Cup Series with driver Jerry Nadeau. Back in the drivers’ seat in 1999 at Sebring Raceway and Road Atlanta, he drove a Winston Cup style car in the HSCRG.

In 2000 Brian worked as a driving instructor at Buck Bakers driving school in Charlotte NC, teaching at such tracks as Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Darlington and Rockingham. Brian was noticed at the Buck Baker Racing School and offered a closed test in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck at Darlington Speedway and at Talladega Super Speedway. Here Brian totally blew away the expectations of the owner.

2001 – 2004 were less than planned years for Brian. As he recuperated from a non race related accident, attacking his rehab with avengeance. Brian knew nothing would do, but to get back onto the track again. Once finished with his successful rehabilitation program, Brian headed back to the track in late 2004 racing in the 37th Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1,000 from Ensenada to La-Paz in a 1/2 1600 class buggy.

2005 found Brian on the track in his Pro Late Model number 62, which is where he is today. This time as a part of the NASCAR Wheelen All-American Series and including the late model shootouts. Brian’s future is in racing and his strategy plan for the next three years is quite intense.

2007 NASCAR All-American Series, Hedmann Headers’ Super 6 Series and 7 Georgia Asphalt Series Races. (GA, SC, AL, FL and TN)
2008 will find Brian racing in the Georgia Asphalt Series in (GA, SC, AL, FL, and TN).
2009 Brian plans to be racing full time for Hooter’s Pro Cup – Rookie of the Year.
